Poncho Spanish

Hello!

I’m Antonela, a certified ELE (Español como Lengua Extranjera – Spanish as a Foreign Language) teacher and a native Spanish speaker from Buenos Aires, Argentina.

I’ve been working as an educator since 2005, both in schools and as a freelancer – a job I’ve always loved. For nearly 10 years, I combined freelance teaching with working as cabin crew, which gave me the chance to travel to incredible places and learn about different cultures and ways of living. It was an amazing experience – but also pretty exhausting!

In 2020, I decided to venture out on my own and founded Poncho Spanish. This little project has given me the freedom to teach in a way that feels stress-free, positive and joyful – something I truly believe every child deserves when learning a language.

My mission is to educate and empower as many kids as I can – giving those who are curious about the world the wonderful gift of a new language. I believe learning Spanish can open up a whole new world of opportunities – and my hope is that my classes help children feel confident, inspired and excited about their journey.
